Resolutions For The New Year

The New Year is upon us! As the new comes, we ourselves hope to improve with it. Thus resolutions! We at Verbosity Book Reviews have some as well.

 Happy New Year

Bobbie’s Resolutions:

My book resolution for the year is to:Buy The Book Thief and The Scorpio Races. (And read at least one hundred books)

My other resolution is to: Finish the language I’m (hahaha) attempting to invent.

Allison’s Resolutions:

My book resolution for the year is to:Read stuff I like, abandon stuff I don’t like. (Rather than force myself to sit through a snooze fest.)

My other resolutions is: Work on revising my book(s) more.

Kelsey’s Resolutions:

My reading resolution for the year is to: Read 130 books! This should prove to be interesting as I highly doubt I’ll make it.

My other resolution is to: Convince myself to actually write something on my palm. It’s always looked like so much fun. . .

What are your resolutions for the year?

Happy New Year! -From Kelsey for all of Verbosity Book Reviews

One of my resolutions is to get rid of some books! I’ll send you The Book Thief if you send me your address! LOL!

Don’t worry! You’ll get there! Who said you couldn’t make them after January 1st, anyways?

Time. There’s never enough time, it seems. I have no idea how I came up with these. I’ve been so busy.

I always always have to finish books, even if I don’t like them. Even if they’re from the library! I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that…

I must get my kids to do their resolutions this year. Always thought they are not old enough!

Thanks! I rarely do resolutions. I tend to cut to the chase–I know I won’t keep them, so what’s the point? I’m going to try this year, though.

Those are awesome resolutions! I need to work on abandoning books I don’t like- I tend to continue to read anyway in the hopes that they’ll get better & they never really do.

I know the feeling. I should probably work on that, myself. Good luck with it, and Happy New Year!
