The Infinty Dreams Award

Hey, guys! Sorry for posting so late! I was super lazy busy over the weekend. 😉

Anyways, without further ado, I was tagged for the Infinity Dreams Award by the lovely Meredith over at Mezza Lily’s Teen Book Reviews. Thank you so much, Meredith!

What exactly is the Infinity Dream Award?

‘The Infinity Dreams Award symbolizes being that breath of life that catalyzes faith in reaching new heights.’

This is not my room, btw. It’s me attempting to selfie at YoungArts
  1. I am actually a paradox.
  2. No, seriously. I am always on both sides of an equation–except when I’m not. It’s crazy.
  3. I love jewelry: bracelets, necklaces, rings, EVERYTHING.
  4. Especially fandom jewelry.
  5. I don’t wear jewelry very often.
  6. I love body art.
  7. Tattoos seem too permanent.
  8. I am ridiculously obsessed with Hamilton right now.
  9. It has been nearly four months and this is has never happened to me before.
  10. I’m HELPLESS.
  11. Also, I can never be SATISFIED.

And there. Now you know 11 more things about me than you did before opening this post.

On to the questions!

Tea or Coffee?

Aw, that’s a hard one. Generally coffee, but occasionally, I’m in more of a tea mode.

Favourite book and why?

AHAHAHHAHA, I am a book blogger. I have entirely too many favorite books and they fluctuate really often. Right now, though, I’d say my favorite book is probably The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan. But one of my all-time favorites is Outcast by Jill Williamson. Also Navigating Early by Clare Vanderpool. And Tiger’s Destiny by Colleen Houck. I’m actually just gonna stop now because I think you get the picture.

High fantasy books or realistic?

AGAIN WITH THE HARD ONES. It really depends because I love fantasy–though I do read more urban fantasy than high–and realistic really isn’t my go-to; but I often find that the best realistics end up being some of my all-time favorites. So I guess I’m gonna have to say high fantasy, but realistics are fantastic too.

Favourite author and why?

Um… today, I’m gonna say Rick Riordan and Jill Williamson. Because, not only have they written some of my all-time favorites, they’re also fantastic writers (some of my all-time favorites, I’ll be honest, don’t have 5-star writing, but I love the characters and/or storyline enough to give them a pass).

If there was a zombie apocalypse and you could only save one animal, what would it be?

NOT SPIDERS. I;D LET THEM DIE.

Puppies, maybe? I mean, really like puppies… No, actually, I’d save horses. Because they’re more than just animals I like; they’re also fantastically useful in an apocalyptic setting: I mean you can play with them, ride them, maybe even eat them (sorry to be morbid. I would not eat a horse unless I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO) if such a desperate situation arises.

Favourite colour?

PINK. Love pink.

Unfinished series of books?

Haha, I actually have quite a few, but. Uh, first one I can think of is the Ellie Sweet series. There are only 2 books, but I stopped in the middle of the second one because… well, a thing. I’ll go back and finish eventually, but the thing made me angry.

A book that made you fangirl?

… All the good ones? Most recently, though, The Golden Specific by S. E. Grove. SOOOO good. Even better than the first one.

Favourite food?

ICE CREAM

What’s your favourite book so far this year?

Either Emerald Atlas or Winter.

Why did you start your blog?

At first, mostly marketing reasons. I’d heard that you kinda needed one to be considered a “successful” author and I wanted to go ahead and get started, so publishers could see that I was at least trying to build a brand name. In the end, though, I kept going because I loved it: I love blogs, I love the community, and I love spewing my random thoughts for all to read. 🙂

And that’s the tag! Thanks so much for tagging me, Meredith!

For my part, I tag Safah, Koko, Skye, Shar, Liz, Heather, and Mariella. Don’t feel obligated–especially since I think some of you may have done this one already?–but if you want to, here are the questions:

1.  If you could pick one character to portray you in the movie of your life, who would that 1 person be? (Charisma asked me this the last time I did this tag, and I think it’s brilliant.)
2.  Pick one character from any movie, show, or book, and pick a candy to describe them. What candy would they be? (this one is also not mine)
3. What’s your favorite album?
4. Favorite soundtrack?
5. Do you use character reference pictures?
6. Do you prefer a lot of descriptions in stories or just a taste of setting so your imagine can build up the rest?
7. If you had to choose and could only have one or the other, would you choose a brilliant plot and awful characters or brilliant charries and an awful plot?
8. Do you feel like your personality type changes when you write? (I normally test INTJ, but when I write first drafts, I feel like I’m more INFP.)
9. Do you adore discovering MBTI types?
10. Since I’m on a roll, what’s your MBTI type?
11. What’s your favorite gif/meme/pinterest post?
And hey, if I didn’t tag you and you want to do this, consider yourself tagged and leave me a comment below to let me know you did it. Can’t wait to see your answers! 😀

Ah, Hamilton, Hamilton, Hamilton. It’s good, no? Agreed that spiders should die, and I could see horses being useful. It might be actually more useful to have a camel because they can deal with more hardy situations in the event that water is scarce, but then I don’t think they’re as good for eating, either. Also, YAY FOR ICE CREAM! Thanks so much for tagging me. 🙂 I look forward to doing this soon!

      IT IS SO GOOD.

*nods* Good. Glad you’re on board with the spider thing should the zombie apocalypse occur. Hmm, okay, so maybe you can save camels and I can save horses and then we’ll have both.

No problem! Can’t wait to see your answers! 😀
